ARDENT Commercial Electric Boiler
The ARDENT commercial electric boiler range, encompassing wall-hung and floor-standing variants with heat outputs from 9 to 100 kW, provides an easy-to-integrate, high capacity, reliable, and compact response for electric hot water and central heating demands in commercial buildings.
ARDENT is designed to serve as an indirect water heater or heating system. Multiple electric heating elements immersed into ARDENT’s integrated water storage tank provide a rapid and reliable source of thermal energy for those seeking to avoid a reliance on gas energy supplies.

ARDENT S60 | S80 | S100
For larger-scale applications, the ARDENT commercial electric boiler is also available as a floor-standing appliance with 60 kW, 80 kW and 100 kW heat outputs.
Stepped element control is included, as well as an automatic air relief valve, safety valve, and temperature and pressure sensors. The integral controller boasts an LCD display and fault output.
Floor-standing ARDENT appliances offer rear flanged pipework connections and boast a protective IP20-rated outer shell.
Additional Information
ARDENT perfectly integrates with a heat pump to provide an additional high-temperature energy source for water heating during the coldest months.
Or, as part of an indirect hot water system, can help eliminate scale build-up common on direct electrical immersion heaters.

What is a commercial electric boiler?
A commercial electric boiler heats water using electric elements rather than burning gas, either directly for space heating or, in ARDENT’s case, as an indirect water heater with elements immersed in an integrated storage tank. It’s specified where a building wants to reduce or remove its reliance on a gas supply, whether for a fully electric system or as a secondary source alongside a heat pump.
What is a commercial electric boiler?
Buildings moving away from gas often assume the choice is binary: keep gas, or commit to a full heat pump replacement with all the disruption that implies. ARDENT offers a third path, a genuinely simple, high-capacity electric alternative that integrates into an existing system without the complexity of a heat pump installation, or sits alongside a heat pump as the high-temperature top-up it needs during the coldest months when heat pump efficiency drops.
Commercial electric boiler vs gas: what actually changes?
Moving from gas to electric changes more than the fuel source. Electric boilers like ARDENT have no flue requirement, which simplifies installation and removes a common site constraint. There’s no combustion, so no CO or NOx emissions on site, and no gas safety inspection regime to maintain. Running costs depend heavily on your electricity tariff versus gas price, which is why ARDENT is commonly specified either as part of a fully electric strategy where the economics already favour it, or as a hybrid top-up alongside a heat pump, where it only runs during the coldest periods rather than carrying the full heating load year-round.
