The DRE is a direct electric water heater offering output rangesof 9kW to 54kW The DRE is configured to produce hot water from 200-300 litre capacity tank for light to medium commercial sites requiring electric-only hot water.
Adveco’s FUSION electric water heaters are packaged units combining storage, direct electric heating and controls in a pre-sized system ready for installation. Available from 9kW to 52kW with 200 to 750 litres of storage, they remove the sizing process entirely, simplifying specification and cutting installation time.
FUSION works as a standalone electric heater (FUSION E / Eplus) or paired with an air source heat pump (FUSION TW / TWplus), which pre-heats incoming water before direct electric heating brings it up to the required temperature. This hybrid setup has cut carbon emissions by up to 68% compared to equivalent gas systems, making FUSION Adveco’s go-to solution for decarbonisation projects that need swift upgrades without complete system redesign.
EES is our electric water heater with integrated storage built in. With capacities ranging from 115 to 450 litres and capable of heating water up to 77°C, the EES is a straightforward solution for commercial installations where a storage vessel is needed alongside an electric water heater. Each unit includes an independent control thermostat allowing precise temperature management.
Our SSB-E electric hot water tank features stainless steel water storage paired with high-output electric heating elements. With capacities ranging from 200 to 2,500 litres and heating outputs available up to 84kW, the SSB-E covers high-capacity electric water storage requirements.
Thanks to built-in redundancy on each SSB-E tank, if one element fails the unit will continue to operate using a single heater. We often specify these in critical applications such as healthcare or hospitality environments where hot water supply cannot be interrupted.

The majority of UK buildings currently use gas boilers for DHW and central heating. For projects looking to switch from gas, whether due to costs, EPC and sustainability targets, planning requirements or because gas is simply not available at the site, commercial electric boilers and direct electric water heaters are a clear and practical alternative.
Heat pumps can provide commercial premises with lower carbon heating and hot water but remain a more complex option. Electric boilers can usually connect to existing hot water or heating circuits with minimal modification, making them quicker to specify and install than heat pumps in most cases.
Adveco’s range of commercial electric boilers starts from 9kW extending up to 100kW. Get in touch to discuss your system requirements. If you need a full electric replacement, we can design and commission the entire system. If you would prefer a hybrid solution that combines electric with a heat pump or solar thermal input, we can design that too.

Commercial electric water heaters and boilers can be integrated into hybrid heating systems that cut running costs and carbon emissions considerably. Combined with either air source heat pumps or solar thermal collectors, or both, Adveco can help specify commercial systems that cut onsite emissions.
Heat pumps or solar thermal act as the primary heat source, taking water temperatures to around 55°C or above. Solar thermal may also be employed as a truly renewable source of mid-heat, when positioned after the ASHP. The electric boiler is then used to top up water temperatures when needed. Commercial building operators favour this arrangement because it allows them to maximise benefit from lower carbon heat pumps, reducing system energy demands and operational costs. Should a heat pump fail, the electric boiler keeps your hot water running for operational continuity.
Products like FUSION are designed specifically with this use case in mind, combining ASHP pre-heating with direct electric heating in a single packaged unit. For larger buildings Adveco can design whole-building bespoke hybrid hot water systems that pair our SSB-E ranges with ASHP units sized to your property’s demand profile.
Commercial electric water heaters allow commercial buildings to cut combustion emissions to zero. They are ideal for retrofit projects where gas is no longer available or being replaced as part of an upgrade. Electric systems are also low maintenance relative to gas boilers, have no flue requirements and can be integrated into hybrid heating systems that use renewable energy sources.
Commercial water heaters start at 9kW output. Our larger floor-standing electric boilers have outputs of up to 100kW. For sites that need more than 100kW capacity, multiple heaters can be linked in parallel to achieve the desired output. Storage sizes run from 115 litres up to 2,500 litres. Our range of FUSION packaged electric water heaters go up to 52kW output with storage capacities of up to 750 litres.
Yes. Adveco’s large commercial electric boilers range from 60kW to 100kW and are designed with large commercial buildings in mind. By installing multiple electric boilers in your plant room you can achieve the total output you require while also building in redundancy: if one boiler fails, the others continue operating. These systems are used in hotels, hospitals and schools as both direct electric replacements for gas boilers and as backups to heat pumps.
How much you save by upgrading an old water heater to a new condensing model will depend on your existing equipment, current gas prices and how much hot water your installation uses on average. For larger commercial buildings running a water heater continuously, Adveco estimates savings of £220,000+ over the lifetime of the equipment when compared to a 25 year old non-condensing model.
Get in touch and we will assess your current water heater at no charge and give you an accurate estimate of your potential savings.
Strictly speaking, a commercial boiler is something that heats water and feeds it into a heating circuit. closed loop systems that use a boiler as their baseline heat source. A commercial electric water heater is more commonly used to refer to DHW production specifically.
As heating and hot water become more interlinked throughout UK buildings, the line between them blurs. Many commercial boilers can produce domestic hot water with the right controls, and that includes Adveco’s ARDENT electric boiler.

Yes. Heat pumps, solar thermal can all work alongside Adveco’s electric boilers without issue. Air source heat pumps can pre-heat your water, leaving the electric boiler to top up when necessary. Solar thermal works the same way. Using renewables to handle base-load heat demands and electric to cover peak needs is a practical way to future-proof your building without taking on the reliability concerns of a fully renewable system.
Our packaged FUSION range makes this particularly straightforward: with a pre-sized and pre-configured unit that combines an ASHP with an electric water heater. For larger builds we can design bespoke hybrid systems to suit.
