Adveco’s FUSION hybrid hot water system provides a range of low carbon, all-electric packaged hybrid hot water applications, available in a range of 16 FPH-S presized variants.

FUSION harnesses Adveco’s FPi32 Air Source Heat Pumps with a compact, high-pressure ATSH calorifier with electric immersion. With dedicated controls and metering, FUSION provides a complete, low-carbon hot water system for a wide range of commercial end uses.

Transferring heat from the air to a building, the FPi32 provides the FUSION hybrid hot water System with working flow temperature for preheat at a consistent 50°C helping reduce energy demands, operating costs and carbon emissions from a building. When compared with equivalent systems, FUSION is shown to deliver carbon emissions savings of 51% against gas-only systems and 53% carbon emissions savings against a direct electric-only system.

FUSION’s FPH-S variants incorporate either a 200, 300, 400 or 500-litre capacity ATSH high-quality indirect water heater. This vessel features a single internal high-capacity fixed heating coil at low level for use with the ASHP. The direct electric immersion then supplies either 9 or 12 kW electric top-up with a uniquely low 6W/cm2 heat intensity. Without detrimental effect to the demands for hot water, this considerably lower heat intensity slows the potential for scale build-up hard water areas. FFPH-S is also less susceptible to corrosion experienced in naturally soft water conditions even when temperatures increase. Able to withstand higher temperature water (in excess of 80°C), the FPH-S lends itself to a wide mix of commercial applications making it the ideal choice for projects in the UK, no matter the water quality.

The FUSION Hybrid Hot Water System, through a mix of physical design and dedicated controls, ensures the ASHP preheat and immersion work seamlessly to deliver the highest operational efficiencies. FUSION’s dedicated controls also incorporate a set of submetering options to monitor the heat pump, immersion and water flow. This provides clear sight of energy and water usage to better manage day-to-day operations. Timer controls and remote control via BMS ensure FUSION is only operating when required, maximising energy demands.

The Adveco FUSION Hot Water System is the perfect response for new build commercial properties as well as refurbishment projects seeking to reduce a building’s carbon footprint. Providing continuous recovery from 257 to up to 377 litres per hour, FUSION is able to meet hot water demands for small to medium businesses, such as offices, retail, cafes, restaurants and even smaller schools with basin and sink led requirements.
